TIS THE SEASON TO BE FESTIVE
We Holiday hard here in the Potrykus household. The trees, the trimmings, the train rides, the parades, the light displays, the ginger bread houses, the cookies...you name it, we do it! And if I'm going to be honest, it's as much for me as it is for my boys.
This time of year, more than any other, nostalgia rushes over me in warm, intense waves. The smell of the tree, the ornaments that once hung on my grandma's tree, the decorations I made long ago mingled with those made by my boys, the family cookie recipes that can never really be recreated, the epic family gatherings, the anticipation of Christmas morning...
It's over in a flash! I only hope that my boys will look back at these photos and remember the magic...
